Kobukuro – 5296

5296 is Kobukuro’s 6th Album and their first since they released their smash hit Best Of ALL SINGLES BEST. It topped the Oricons Charts for 4 amazing weeks selling 960,000 copies during that period. The Album heads straight to the million and has a great chance to top the Yearly Music Charts of 2008 as well.

Review:
To be honest, I got interested in Kobukuro during WINDING ROAD era but I didn’t like the song at all (I still don’t)! Then came TSUBOMI which I didn’t like either (now I do!!!) after that Aoku Yasashiku was released and I did not bother listening to the song :p
After listening to the Album, I really recommend it, even HIGHLY recommend it! Their music is so simple yet extremely beautiful and catchy! I LOVE KOBUKURO!!!
Recommended tracks are:
Aoku Yasashiku, TSUBOMI, Kimi toIu Nano Tsubasa, Kaze no Naka wo & Fragile Mind
The rest is very good too, depends on taste.
